Why Did You Decide to Join PIVX? Why Do You Enjoy Working in PIVX? Initially, I was doing contract work, but once I saw a real community of people that were devoting serious time and work to non-development related aspects of PIVX, I saw it as something unique and with a clear future. I saw a team of smart developers starting to be formed, and really wanted to be part of the team beyond a contract by contract basis.
Your Favorite Saying or Quote? “It’s not about ideas. It’s about making ideas happen.” -Scott Belsky
If You Wear a Hat or T-Shirt, What Logo/Brand/Product Would be on it? The best shirts and hats don’t display a brand or logo on them.
Tell Us a Little Bit About Yourself! I live in Salt Lake City and work in a small office full of local coders. I love coding and try to stick to the actual code of PIVX as much as I can, and try to leave as much of the decision making process, marketing, interviews, etc to all of the community.

The Focus of Your Work in PIVX: Anything that needs doing 🙂
Favorite Energy Drink: Coffee
Previous Work: Previous PIVX work: BIP38 encryption,
Why Did You Decide to Join PIVX? Why Do You Enjoy Working in PIVX? I decided to seek a core dev position after the community meetup in SF. I was blown away by how awesome of a team and community PIVX has. I enjoy working on PIVX because I prefer C++ over most other languages because it puts power into the hands of the developer, rather than languages like C#/Java/TypeScript which greatly restrict what a developer has access to. PIVX devs also have a great culture regarding the openness of opinions, code reviews, collaboration. This leads to better solutions, from empowering everyone by knowing their opinions are valued and considered, even if the opposite of the current general consensus.
Your Favorite Saying or Quote? “JFDI” – PIVX “There are things we know that we know. […] There are things that we know we don’t know. […] There are things we do not know we don’t know.” – Donald Rumsfeld
If You Wear a Hat or T-Shirt, What Logo/Brand/Product Would be on it? Almost always wear a hat: mostly NEFF. Also, PIVX and HyperStake custom hats 🙂
Tell Us a Little Bit About Yourself! I am a full stack developer, by day, for a pharmaceutical software company. The company was a startup by a parent company for development of a new product. I was the 6th employee to be hired which shortly after grew to 28 employees. Since then, the parent company has consumed the startup company and product, which led to becoming part of an engineering department of 150+ developers. I am, and have been since I started, the youngest full stack developer across the whole department. I am also the youngest PIVX dev 😉
When Did You Join PIVX? Contractor: Dec ’16 – May ’17 Core Dev: August ’17
